at the moment in cowes on the isle of wight its skandia reggata week... its a big event for yachters... they race around the island... the other day I was too lazy to go down to the beach and so popped my 70-200 and 1.4x extender on to snap this shot from my living room window.. there were loads of sails that day, but I rather liked this one... the tall 'sail like' structure in the distance is the spinnaker tower in Portsmouth Harbour...
